Midland MI flood

Many of you are aware of the recent flooding in Gladwin, Sanford and Midland. It has been a hard week for many. Our hearts are breaking for our friends, family and neighbors affected. Unfortunately, wewere one of the unlucky ones. My name is Linda Good Kinsman from Midland Michigan, where our house was flooded. I am the primary beneficiary and the money we raise will be used for temporary housing and rebuilding our home. The flood has completely destroyed our home. Five feet of water entered our bedroom, pantry and laundry/ furnace/hot water heater room while three to four feet of water made its way to our kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. We have lost everything from furniture to appliances and keepsakes. We are thankful for those who have been praying and for those who have showed up to help haul and empty every room in our home. We are still working with our insurance company but unfortunately what we will receive will no where near cover the work that needs to be done to repair our house and the contents inside. We can still use your prayers.Thank you for those who have asked for ways to help. We would be lost without you.
