Midwife to Rohingya Refugee Camp
Donation protected
Jenn Head, Executive Director of One World Midwives , and midwife, has traveled all over the world assisting as a midwife in natural disasters, war ridden areas, displaced person camps, and resistance camps. This time Jenn will be going to Bangladesh in mid-January to work in the refugee camps with Midwife Pilgrim and Hope Hospital.
There are 800,000+ refugees fleeing genocide inside of Myanmar into Bangladesh refugee camps. Hope Hospital has invited midwives that are a part of Midwife Pilgrim to help with the overload of pregnant women and help with the perinatal care (prenatals, births and postpartum) alongside local providers.
It is estimated there are 24,000 pregnant or lactating women in the refugee camps.

Midwife teams are now on the ground in Cox's Bazaar district of Bangladesh, on the border with Myanmar. Your donations send medical supplies and skilled hands to provide compassionate care to survivors of brutal assault and ethnic cleansing.

Any assistance you can offer will save a life of a mother or baby. Offer medication or supplies to the midwives working in the field right now. Please consider donating today to this growing crisis.
I am grateful, and the mothers and babies are grateful.
