Mifflin County Middle School Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run, Heart and Sole is one of the best programs for middle school girls I have seen in my teaching career. Through preparing to run/walk a 5k, girls learn to have confidence, overcome adversity, communicate assertively with adults and classmates, and advocate for themselves and others.

The curriculum, supplies and 5k prep for this program do not come cheap. The cost for each individual girl to participate is $150.00. That's more money than most girls at our school can afford.

I have started this Go Fund Me to cover the registration fee plus Go Fund Me fees for 15 girls to participate from MCMS for Spring 2022. Won't you invest in a young girl's future? Every little bit helps. Thank you!
