Help Fix a Broken Meegs

Here's the situation.

The best things in life are free; playing ball in the backyard on a sunny California day with your best fur friend, for example. 

Unfortunately, the doggy surgery that comes from your best friend injuring himself trying to catch said ball on said sunny California day can neither be considered a Best Thing in life, nor is it free. Which is why I'm asking for your support. 

We are meeting with a surgeon this week, but after today's initial vet visit it appears that he's torn several tendons in his back right leg that will require surgery to fix. He's currently donning a sassy Christmas cast, is three doses deep into a large bottle of opiates and is feeling less than his usual spunky self.
