Miguel Ángel Mejía

Hello, my name is Carolina and my brother and I are raising funds for my family in this difficult time, we lost our dear Miguel, my nephew... on September 6th Miguel collapsed and was taken to the emergency room, we discovered that he was suffering from an advanced state Duodenal ulcer. During the weeks that unfolded, doctors and family tried to keep Miguel alive, he had to undergo at least 7 surgeries and 38 transfusions with Abthera (open abdomen) but unfortunately, no medical procedure could save him and we had to say Goodbye .

,as my family is devastated and it is hard to see parents losing their son. We are facing financial challenges, from memorial and funeral costs to hospital bills...we are asking for this community's help as it is our last hope. We have received a lot of support from friends and family for which we are grateful.

Miguel was the kindest, the most intelligent, the example for his brothers, for his family, a follower of Christ. Miguel was happy to start a new chapter in his life after graduating from college at age 18 and going to university . All of these dreams were shattered in a matter of days. We still... don't understand .
