My name is Ibi Ukegbu. I am fundraising for the young man in the photo Miguel Franklyn whom I first met at my church a few months ago. He had come to the US to try to raise funds to pay off the balance of his medical school fees at University of Montemorelos. By God's grace and with the assistance of friends and church family, his balance of almost $9000 was recently paid off. However, he just got the news that he needs to pay another $1500 fee to be accepted for a 1-year internship (housemanship) and that this would be an unpaid job for the next year. Many of these fees have been revised/changed since he started medical school six years ago. This is one of the last steps required before receiving his certificate. No amount is too small. He is a very humble and hardworking young man. He helped the church in various ways, including playing the piano and drums and translating into Spanish during our food bank. As you show him favor and mercy, our good Lord will repay it in blessings on your own children, wherever they may be.
