Paying tribute to Miguel Hernandez Jr.
Donation protected
On October 27th, we received the devastating news that Miguel (32) was in a car accident. He was leaving work (still in his US Postal Service uniform) to join his wife, daughter, and his parents at a pumpkin patch to enjoy some family time. His wife (Aracely) after receiving the Earth shattering news, rushed to the scene in the city of Brentwood, only to find the flipped car her husband was driving. He was rushed to the UCLA hospital, where they notified the family he had passed away.
Miguel Hernandez was a loving father to his only daughter (3 years old) and a loyal husband. His death has impacted everyone he knew and was able to form amazing memories with him to that we are extremely grateful. He always put others first, no matter what issues he had in his personal life. He would drop whatever was at hand, rushing to them with open arms and ears. This went beyond even his death, as Miguel chose to donate his organs to save other lives.
He left behind many who loved him. Most importantly, he left his young daughter (3) and his wife. He was the head of the household and breadwinner, dedicating himself to whatever wants and needs of his family. His wife is currently studying for her Masters Degree to ensure her daughter has a plentiful and fruitful life ahead of her. We only wish for you to read this story with open hearts.
We are asking for donations to have a memorial service in Miguel’s honor. As well as to help alleviate his surviving’s wife (Aracely) and daughters expenses.
In regards to my (creator of the fundraiser) relation to this family. I am Miguel’s only sister-in-law.
