Miguelangel Garcia

Hi, my name is Nancy Garcia and I am the eldest sister to Miguelangel Garcia. It is with great hurt that I sit here and write this today. My brother, just being 17 years old was shot on Monday April 15th. 7 bullets were shot at and only one of them entered through the back of his neck just below his skull on his right side and went through his brain landing on the left side of his head. The surgeons had to remove part of his skull because his brain was swelling up and they wanted to give it space to provide blood flow and oxygen to go through. During his surgery he went into cardiac arrest and fortunately he was able to come back. However, the surgeons stated that if he did survive his severe brain injuries he would not have the same functions as before (basically a vegetable). At 2:15 PM he went into cardiac arrest again and lost his battle. Miguelangel was a 17 year old boy full of life, with a great heart and very loving.
