Message from Caitin Stickels:
"for everyone who loves Mika Mae Jones, this day is the day that we have all dreaded and feared the most. Mika had a seizure and is in a coma at the hospital and there was too much damage. she was with me when she had a seizure late yesterday and we have all been trying to save her life since. it was abrupt and without warning. i was very aware of her condition and was doing a lot to help her as i already had helped her with her seizures several times in the past. yesterday Mika was calm, inspired and happy. for the most part she was doing well with the exception of a stressful phone call that she had with Paypal. i made sure that she was okay afterward and she sincerely seemed to be doing better. this was extremely unexpected.
Please keep her in your hearts. a world without Mika Mae Jones is a world that none of us can really fathom even though it is something that we all feared. if you have any questions, please contact her father Guy Jones or her brother Daniel Ray Jones or myself Caitin Stickels nd someone will get back to you. a lot of people love Mika but we will all get to you as we can. everyone please be kind with one another as this is hard for anyone who loved Mika.
Mika is my family. she is my twinheart. i have to be strong for her father and siblings because she would have done that and more for me. this was going to be a healing summer and we talked about it everyday. Mika inspires and motivates me unlike anyone else. she is an artist in the truest sense of the word. she lives and breathes for her artwork. no matter what happened to her, she never stopped drawing. she never stopped living for the magic that she knew she had within her, even if she didn't have anything else. i cannot imagine a world without Mika Mae Jones"
Currently The Jones Family is looking to create a foundation in Mika’s name to help other artists and to also keep her art alive. All funds will be dispersed directly to Mika’s Brother so that him and his family can work to keep Mika’s memory alive. More details to come.
