Mikaela's Transgender Body Affirmation Surgery

Hello all, my name is Mikaela Garcia.. everyone knows me as Mika (me‐kuh*). I am a 37 year old Trans Woman and parent of 2, seeking help with funds for Body Contouring. Also known as "Fat Transfer."

I have come to the realization that my body is a huge part of my Gender Dysphoria, as I feel I do not have a feminine shape. Some may wonder why or how I could have any dysphoria left, but when I look in the mirror, my broad shoulders, flat tush, and hip dips make me cringe with discomfort. People struggle with Dysphoria in many different ways, and this so happens to be one of my biggest insecurities. So far, the only procedure I've received has been Breast Agumentation. THIS procedure will extract my own body fat to sculpt my Waist, Back, Neck and Arms. Then, transfer the same fat back into my body in more desirable places, like my Hips, Buttocks, and Breasts.

Exercise and diet does not seem to be enough to achieve my body type goals, and although I have been on Hormones for close to 6 years, my body's fat distribution has not targeted my main areas of interest. This operation will help me gain the confidence I am so desperately lacking and will help me both mentally and physically move forward with my life as who I was always meant to be.

Unfortunately, my Health Insurance views this surgery as "Cosmetic," and therfore will not cover any of the costs, leaving me to pay for this procedure "Out of Pocket." But this is a big financial responsibility that I cannot take on without extra support. So, I am reaching out for help, only if you can.

It honestly pains me to ask, and I have struggled with the decision to reach out to others for almost 2 years.. but as time goes on, and I continue to get older, I feel I am left with no other option. Of course nobody is obligated to donate, and I hope that you do not look down on me in this vulnerable time of need. I ask for your help with a heavy heart, as I never want to feel like I'm taking advantage of others. I simply want to present an opportunity for those of you who may want to help.
