To who it may concern,
My name is Breannah Ranger. My son, Mikah Elijah Davis was tragically killed in an accidental gun incident Sunday evening on July 28th, 2019. Mikah was a 3 year old that was full of laughter, energy, and spirit. So much spirit. Mikah loved dinosaurs, firefighters, the Chicago White Sox, but above all, he loved his family. Mikah could be described as energetic, charismatic, lovable, loyal, kind, intelligent, curious, and oh so compassionate. In 3 short years, Mikah was able to impact hundreds of individuals. He was an outgoing child and his love created a domino effect on whoever was graced by his presence. Although he stood a couple inches over 3ft, Mikah saw himself as the protector, he made sure you knew you were safe if he was around, that was his essence. When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, Mikah proudly responded by saying he wanted to be a firefighter. When asked why he gladly boasted that he wanted to save lives, specifically his family members. That was the kind of child he was, a selfless loving soul. As protective as Mikah was, he was simultaneously the life of the party. Mikah absolutely loved to sing, dance, and play for hours upon hours. If you turned on Baby Shark, Old Town Road, or Watch Me Whip, the sound of his feet running toward the music quickly followed. His laugh and smile were contagious. Mikah could turn anyone’s bad day into a great one just by being close to him. Mikah’s overflowing abundance of energy and fun will be missed sorely by those who knew him. Although his was not as long as we hoped, we understand the importance and impact his earthly years had on us. Mikah was everything one could ask for in a child. He was an excellent student, loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and grandson. Mikah’s legacy does not end with his life. His spirit is carried through by his parents, younger brother, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who loved him so.
I humbly come to you asking for support in this difficult time. Deaths are never timely, but this sent a special shockwave that left is irreparable scar on all of our hearts. Mikah’s life was cut short but we are fighting to keep his legacy, interests, and passions alive. Please allow us to give him this gift after life.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call or e-mail. .
