Mikayla's Recovery Fund

Hi Everyone,

My name is Karina.

In case you have not heard, little my sister, Mikayla, was in a very serious car accident the morning of Saturday, October 9th.

She lost control of her car, went into a ditch, hit and broke a telephone pole and rolled her Honda Pilot 3 times. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

She was trapped in her vehicle and the Jaws of Life were needed to get her out. She was then air lifted to a near by trauma hospital.

She suffers from a 10 inch laceration starting at her forehead and running down the back of her head.

Her right ear was detached from her head.

A plastic surgeon was able to reattach her ear and also suture and staple the laceration on her head.

Her left thumb is fractured.

She is very scraped up and bruised and also has a gash on her right knee that she had to get stitches.

She was driving her Honda Pilot and, unfortunately, it is totalled. It is truly a miracle she is alive!!

I am making this account for her, to try to help with her hospital bills, recovery and surgery bills, and hopefully even raise enough to help her afford a new car!
