Mike and Cheryl Bryant need our help!

Hi, I am Jean. I have set up this fundraiser for my cousin and her husband, Cheryl and Mike Bryant. Mike was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis onset by polymyositis and then additionally diagnosed with interstitial lung disease. The disease attacked his lungs, and he has been unable to work for many years. He was on the lung transplant list and finally got the news that a generous donor was the match for a double lung transplant on July 10, 2022. It has been a very long and painful journey for both of them. Mike has been on the ventilator three times, ultimately requiring a trach, numerous infections, ICU delirium, rejection, and kidney failure. He receives dialysis three times a week and has been unable to eat, drink or walk since July 10. He is in a rehab facility about 100 miles from their home in Virginia. Cheryl has been staying with him as much as possible but must go home to take care of things at home occasionally. We hope that he can be moved to a rehab facility close to their home. This situation has created a substantial financial burden on them. If you can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Please pray that God would give them the comfort, healing, recovery, strength and wisdom they need to handle this challenging situation.
