Mike and Debbie, Hurricane Ian Flooding Help
Donation protected
Hello all,
Our parents, Mike and Debbie, live a little Northwest of Daytona Beach, FL, and were hit with heavy winds and flooding from Hurricane Ian. They are safe and evacuated to their travel trailer that was sitting on higher ground and did not flood as the house did. The house is flooded and there is debris, broken trees, and fish floating around their now completely flooded property. We are not sure how damaged the electrical in the house is from the water and are unsure if they will be able to turn the electricity back on.
They lost or will lose most of their belongings to the flood waters and the eventual black mold that will set in.
We are fundraising for debris clean-up and to replace belongings, we are hoping this fundraiser can fund sub pumps, a generator, fans, a dumpster or roll-off, and professional tree trimmers.
Please reach out to me with any questions.
-Keri
Side-note: Debbie and Michael reluctantly agreed to this fundraiser at the urging of their children and grandchildren.
