My friend Mike Threet and his wife Judy are among those impacted by Hurricane Irma.  Mike and Judy have lost everything: their home, their car, furnishings, clothes, and keepsakes.  I spoke with Mike yesterday, and he just kept repeating that at least they were spared.  Amen to that, but they still need help. 
      While their car insurance has been very helpful, Mike told me of the horror surrounding his home insurance company.  They are classifying his home loss as "wind damage" in an attempt to avoid honoring the hurricane coverage.  Aside from having to cover their hotel accommodations, food, basic necessities, etc. out of their own pockets, Mike and Judy are now faced with having to hire a lawyer to compel the insurance company to handle their claim appropriately.
     Please give if you are able.  Every little bit helps, and I know Mike and Judy will be grateful.
