Mike and Rachel Vance Medical Expense Fund

After 3 years of fighting a series of medical issues, Mike Vance, lost his life.  He spent the last 3 weeks in the hospital where doctors attempted multiple surgeries which ended with him in the ICU and eventually hospice.  Mike was a Navy veteran and is leaving behind his wife, Rachel, and three sons, Michael, Benjamin and Charles (deceased).

Mike had to quit his job due to his health complications.  As a result, he lost his health insurance.  Rachel was unable to add him to her insurance due to his pre-existing health conditions.  When he applied for benefits through the VA he was denied.  

The purpose of this Go Fund Me request is to help Rachel pay the hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills that were acquired while Mike fought for his life.  Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.  No amount is too small.  It’s hard enough to lose a loved one.  Help us ease one of the many burdens in her life as she tries to pick up the pieces from this heartbreaking loss.
