Mike Bernard & Family

As we sit here and create this Go Fund Me for our colleague and friend Mike Bernard & his family it is not lost on us how fragile life can be and how much cancer does in fact suck. Mike was suddenly diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer recently with a poor prognosis and will be unable to return to work. Mike has given the better part of his life to helping and caring for others in the pre-hospital setting, serving the communities of Marlboro & Hudson for the past 20 years as a paramedic. He is a kind and compassionate man with a heart of gold and always a true professional with the skills to get the job done while consistently showing compassion and kindness to all those he encountered.

Now our friend and his family need us to come together in a very difficult time and help them as they attempt to navigate this unforeseen circumstance. As Mike will be unable to work this puts a great deal of stress on the family and it is our goal to help alleviate the financial concerns they are facing.

At this time Mike is resting but is unable to be home as he is too ill, he is being cared for by his loving wife, Larni, son Kolby and daughter, Cami, who is a senior in high school and will be attending college in the fall and aspires to be a doctor.
