Mike Blackburn

Hello everyone,  please meet the Blackburn Family.  Mike Blackburn has been diagnosed with  Sarcoma cancer in his leg and it has spread to surrounding lymph nodes.  He and his wife are having to stay out of town for several weeks and maybe months for him to receive the best treatment possible, leaving their two boys behind to live with family  members.  With that being said unforeseen costs of hotel expenses, travel and food are extremely expensive . They are also missing work and still having to pay the bills at home while away.

Mike and Crystal have been a vital part in our youth sports programs in the East Wilkes district.  They are the behind the scenes management in all of our youth football and EW Havoc basketball  programs.   All of this is done with a labor of love, because they don't make a dime while doing this.  You can see the joy they get from helping and promoting these programs for the children.

Please help support this family during this difficult time.  Every dollar you can donate will definitely help ease the financial burden, so they can concentrate on getting Mike better. Money will be spent for hotel rooms, food, travel and to pay the bills at home.
