Mike, Brittnee, Emma & Baby Boy Krew

Hey everyone! First thing I just wanted to thank every single one of you guys that have donated, shared the fundraiser and helped this amazing family during their time of need. I just wanted to get on here and give everyone a quick little update on Krew. He is doing the best out of the situation at hand. They are looking to operate on Krew two days after he is born and then have a nice comfy stay in the NICU. Once Brittnee is discharged from the hospital they are looking at hopefully only a 2 week stay as long as Krew recovers well. Brittnee and Mike were just down at CHOP and the little boy is measuring 6lbs 6oz which is a great size! Please keep this amazing family in your prayers and to help us meet this goal!! Thank you

Hi, our names are Kimberlee and Chelsea and we are asking our community to come together right now and help out Mike, Brittnee, Emma and Baby Krew. This great family got some hard news at Brittnee's anatomy scan. They were informed that Krew has a heart defect called Transposition of the great arteries more commonly known as TGA. Krew's two main arteries are parallel and they need to be surgical, switched to crisscross each other to properly carry out the oxygen that will support his whole body. When Krew is born he is going to need to have immediate open heart surgery at CHOP in Philadelphia. Leading up to Krew's arrival there are many doctor appointments. They are and have been traveling back and forth to CHOP, going to see a high-risk doctor every other week, a regular OB/GYN, and a cardiologist. Brittnee and Mike are going to have to stay in Philadelphia for at least two weeks or more after delivery. In the times we are living, the cost of medical expenses and travel, and the long stay in Philadelphia are starting to add up financially. Brittnee and Mike are doing everything they can while still raising, Big Sister Emma. We are here to ask everyone to come together and help this amazing family! If you are a person who knows Brittnee and/or Mike you know they have hearts of gold and would help anyone in need, now it is time for us to come together for them.
