Mike Brzezinski & Family

Hello,

My name is Jessalyn Brzezinski and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my family.

To say that life has been a whirlwind the past 6 months for our family would be an understatement. My Dad, Mike Brzezinski, underwent his 2nd open heart surgery in May of this year. This surgery was to replace 2 heart valves and implant a Pacemaker.

His recovery was a success and we were extremely optimistic for what the future held. My Dad was able to retire in June after a rewarding career path in parks & recreation and education. Glenbard East High School students know him as Mr. B, the Bookstore Manager. You could also catch him working the sidelines at football games or running the scoreboard at basketball & volleyball games.

Due to health concerns, my Dad ended up back in the hospital in Mid September. After several tests and medical imagining, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Renal cancer. Unfortunately, treatment was not an option and he has since been in Hospice care.

This fund will go to medical bills and his final arrangements.

My family and I would like to thank everyone in advance for their contributions, support, and prayers throughout this tough time. We cannot express how much we appreciate the kindness and generosity.
