Mike, Carrie, and Niko Mezo

On Friday, December 18th, Mike, Carrie, and 13 year old Niko Mezo were traveling from their home in Michigan to Las Vegas to visit family for Christmas. Tragically, Mike and Carrie were killed in a car accident. Thankfully, Niko sustained only minor injuries. I am a close friend of Carrie's younger sisters, Carolyn (Westbrook)  & Dale Sifuentes, Cathy & Nate Strong. I have been friends with the family for almost 30 years and I consider them my "family." I am organizing this go fund me page to help Niko and the family through the tough times ahead. At this point, final arrangements are still being made. This fundraiser is in place to help ensure Niko has something to meet his needs in the months to come. Niko and his family will need to travel back to Michigan to get things in order and settled. 

     Mike followed his dream and passion for art. He became a talented tattoo artist and loved what he did. He left his artistic mark on many people.  Carrie had a passion for training dogs. She was the owner and founder of The Dog Thinks What? They were amazing people and will be greatly missed.
