Mike Eittreim’s Medical Expenses
Donation protected
While riding his bike on February 2, Mike was hit by a car. He suffered injuries that required him to be airlifted to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara. He suffered a skull fracture, brain swelling and bleeding and a few broken ribs. There is no internal bleeding, but the brain injury remains the biggest concern. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him and many medical bills in the future. He is currently stable but there are still many unanswered questions about what the future holds; right now it is a waiting game. The next couple of weeks will be crucial. This is a scary and difficult time for his four sons and family.
Anybody who knows Mike knows how generous of a man he is. He never hesitates to offer help to anybody who needs it. Over the years, many people have come to know him either from his work at Vons or his time spent out at Jalama Beach. He loves to cook and bake, and is known for baking above-and-beyond custom birthday cakes for his family members. He recently got interested in photography; his Facebook is filled with photographs of nature, his boys and his grandchildren. Mike is also a life-long Lakers fan. Mike's hard work ethic is known by many, and he will continue to work harder than ever to recover. He is strong and healthy, and both of those things are working in his favor right now.
Our entire family is grateful for any support you can offer and all of your prayers, well wishes and good thoughts.
