Mike & Han Staab Family

Hi! My name is Paula Staab. I am Mike’s proud mom. My son and his family (wife, Han and children, Raya, 11, Aria, 7, & Landry, 5) were directly impacted by hurricane Ian. TWICE! Ian made landfall in the area where they live causing much damage to their home. The hurricane then went up the coast and went directly over a small house they own in Port Charlotte. That house was devastated removing a two week old roof (that depleted their savings) and with no resources available he doing his best to save what is left. The income from that house was also a chunk of their family income.

As a mother, everything in me wants to be there to help. That’s not possible right now as I’m in Kansas and the airports into the area are closed. Maybe this is one thing I can do to help them get through their immediate needs. There are so many in this situation with challenges it’s hard to imagine unless you have experienced it. Every little bit will help. If not Mike’s family, find someone to help?
