FISH-BONE FUND
November 3, 1954- February 12, 2024
“Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.” THIS WAS OUR DAD.
Pops. The man, the myth, the legend. Michael Stephen Hollis was a loving father to four children; Brandon, Stacie, Jamie Lee and Cody, and was known as “G-Pa” to his four beautiful grandchildren. As an avid hunter and fisherman, his knowledge, appreciation, and respect for nature was paralleled to none. Known as “Fish Bone” to all that knew and loved him, you could always find him in the woods or on the lake, summer or winter, rain or shine. Highly creative, he was a phenomenal artist in several mediums; sketching, painting, sculpture, welding, photography, hand crafting lures and could tie a fly like no one else. A simple but brilliant man, he had an answer for every question, every time. Immeasurably kind and generous beyond his means, he affected the lives of everyone he ever met. The Legend of Fish Bone will live on as his stories will be told for ages.
We are raising funds to help cover expenses for Mike’s memorial service and related costs. If you feel so inclined, these expenses will be a great help to Mike's family through these trying times.
Mike’s family is deeply moved and eternally grateful for every kind word, story told, and donation made.
