Mike Italiano Memorial Fund

Tax deductible

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved friend and supporter, Mike Italiano. Mike was a avid supporter of the F.O.C.U.S. Youth Network, and before his passing, always spoke of giving his time to volunteer and making a lasting change on his community. In a personal message to our founder, Devon Buchanan, Mike wrote, "This is what I have always wanted to do.....To provide a place or outlet if they need help, a place to learn if they need tutoring, a place to live if they were not safe. You are doing exactly what I want to do."

He dreamed of a better world for our youth, and we want to honor that. Below, you may donate to a Mike Italiano Memorial Fund, which will help to provide a safe place for students to learn and grown and financial support for students in need.

We are all saddened by Mike's passing, but are fortunate to have been blessed by such a man. Help us to carry on his legacy and provide a brighter future for kids for years to come. For every $500, we are able to provide physical, mental, and social support services for a student for a year. Let's change some lives together.

Thank you for your support.

Devon L. Buchanan, Founder/Executive Director

Deuce

February 6, 1983 to May 20, 2021

Michael T. Italiano, cherished husband of his soulmate, Corinne Italiano, passed from illness the morning of May 20 in Wesley Chapel, FL, at age 38. Beloved son of Catherine C. and Nicholas C. Italiano of Marlton, Michael adored his son, Dominic M. Italiano of Land O Lakes, FL, and idolized his brother, Nicholas Chance Italiano (Marlton), wife Amanda and their children Madelyn, Juliet and Nash.

Nicknamed Deuce, his love of sports never waned and he’ll be remembered for stealing home in youth baseball games or burying a 3-pointer on the basketball court. Accepting, nonjudgmental and fearless, Deuce was quick with a smile and even quicker to assist anyone in need. Always an animal lover, he was rarely seen without his K-9 companion, Scarlett. A 2008 graduate of the University of South Florida, he was a day trader and aspired to develop and operate a teen center.

Following his storybook wedding to Corinne at Diamond Beach, NJ in September 2016, the couple moved to Florida in early 2018 to live closer to Dominic. His life was soon enhanced by the love and inclusion from his in-laws, Daniel T. and Barbara F. Conklin of The Villages, FL.

Gone from us far too soon, Michael’s loss also impacted Great-Aunt Jane A. Harris of Vineland along with aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mike Italiano Memorial Fund supporting the F.O.C.U.S. Youth Network at: https:/www.focusyouthnetwork.org/mikeitalianomemorialfund.
