Mike &Katie Carr emergency fund

Hi my name is Leslie and I am the Mother of this incredible man.

Their life together started as a fairytale. After both had given up on their Happily Ever After, they found one another. They married, bought their dream home, had amazing careers and a BIG surprise baby. After a few years into Katie’s career as a police officer she started taking seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. We were terrified while she was carrying Baylee but did amazingly well even off some off her meds which would have hurt the baby. After Baylee was born Katie began suffering with debilitating migraines, loss of vision, etc…. Katies doctors will not release her to return to work and she has gone 1 year without pay (she the bread winner) and was recently let go by the department. Mike being the Man, Husband and Father of 6 and PawPaw of 5 began working tirelessly trying to work as much Overtime as he possibly could to try and keep them afloat, this of course could only happen if Katie was well enough for him to do so, otherwise he went home to care for her. The stress and anxiety mounting daily as to how he would provide for his family. On Friday July 8th Mike left work to seek medical treatment after having a few episodes and not feeling Right. Mike had a HEART ATTACK! Unfortunately this will set them back further financially with bills mounting and put additional stress on him. Now the hospital bills added on! They are a proud couple, would rather help others as opposed to needing/asking for help. Without some support they risk losing everything they’ve worked so hard for please consider making a donation so Mike can take the time and get the rest required to recover.
