Mike & Marcey need our help!

 Monday, April 26th with no warning Mike suffered a massive heart attack. He had 2 open
heart surgeries right away and his heart had to be restarted several times. In recovery his heart stopped again. He was brought back into surgery for the third time in 12 hours. Mike started to wake up, with Marcey his wife (my sister) by his side. Things were looking better. Friday that ended. From the trauma, transfusions and surgeries he developed severe inflammation around his lungs. They brought him back into surgery, then informed my sister and the rest of us that he’d have to be placed on life support and life flighted to UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center). There he would remain on life support to see if lungs improve and then since he is so young possibly have an artificial heart transplant. Dr said it could take days or
weeks. Just no answer. 

Marcey and Mike have been together for 24
years.. since they were teens. Mike has 2
daughters and 2 grandchildren. Mike has been employed at Rent-A-Center for 14 years. They are like his 2nd family and have been extremely supportive during this time. 

He’s got so
much more life to live and love to give. My
sister is on leave at work..there is no income coming in right now. Back and forth to
Pittsburgh is going to be very costly and even more exhausting for her. He is her best friend and she wants to and needs to be with him. 

I am trying to raise funds to make this burden a little lighter for them. UPMC has hotels in
the area, also a type of housing. That would be ideal for her right now. Not to mention the 
bills are not going to stop, fuel, food. None of 
us know how long this road is or where it’ll 
lead but my sister and Mike need help making this ride more smooth.  So thank you.. and
please don’t stop praying. They need it.
