Hi I'm Nicholas Rynne I am chairman of the Mike McTigue memorial fund . Mike McTigue won the Light heavyweight Championship of the World on St Patrick's day 1923 To commemorate the one hundred year anniversary of this great feat we will erect a fitting memorial at Kilnamona Co.Clare birth Place of McTigue. Mike McTigue was my grand uncle all funds will go to commemorate a great Irishman and World Champion Boxer.
