Mike Nolting Medical Fund

On August 16, Mike Nolting was taken by CareFlite to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Doctors feared that Mike had suffered a stroke and he has been in critical condition in the ICU. Over the past few weeks Mike has been battling to stay alive and he remains in critical condition on a ventilator while sedated. A team of doctors are still trying to pinpoint the source of his illness, and in the process Mike now has pneumonia on top of his other battles. The doctors and Mike’s family are hopeful and have faith that Mike can win this battle and return home eventually, but the CareFlite bill and medical bills are accruing daily and they are astronomical. Mike does have insurance that will cover a small portion of his medical expenses, but his insurance will expire soon due to being off work, and his CareFlite bill alone is $40,000. When Mike returns home he will need time off of work and extensive rehab that will continue to put a financial burden on their family.
