Hi, my name is Laura, I am setting up this GoFundMe for my granny and papa who are struggling with medical and upcoming funeral costs. Papa has cholangiocarcinoma which is liver cancer. It was diagnosed at end stage which means any treatment would have gone towards trying to extend his life by submitting him to grueling chemotherapy. It would have never gone away and might have bought him a few months. He chose quality over quantity and they said that it would be a few months at most when he was diagnosed. They live on social security so a very small fixed income. They used quite a bit of money traveling (fuel costs), hotel stays to be close to the hospital, and eating out while trying to get the diagnosis. It is unlikely that Medicare will cover everything so there will be medical bills too. In addition, they have to do funeral arrangements which will also cost money. Anything that you could donate to help during this terrible time would be greatly appreciated.
