The lovely Pierce family needs our help. The last few months have been filled with unexpected challenges. Their everyday life has changed beyond anything they could have imagined. In early January, Mike was diagnosed with a devastating disease, Glioblastoma. This type of brain tumor has hit hard and incredibly fast. Living with this daily nightmare, amidst the unpredictable chaos feels like your life as a family has completely fallen apart. It’s scary and creates a feeling of uncertainty. This GoFund Me Drive is made with much love by friends in an effort to show support.

With mounting medical bills and the overwhelming cost for additional home healthcare needs, Wesley and Jo have put their lives on hold. They have withdrawn from college to provide care and comfort to their Dad and loving support to their Mom, Susan. This has also been beyond imaginable for Mike’s remaining parent, 89-year-old Mother, Linda who also lives with them.

As parents, Mike and Susan have always told Wes and Jo to “Reach for the stars. Anything is possible.” With their new reality and Susan facing single parenthood, any contribution made to this fund will help prop them up to handle the challenges and difficult days ahead.
