Mike Pittman Stage 4 Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
This week, we were devastated by the news that my husband’s, Mike Pittman, biopsy from his colonoscopy had tested positive for invasive colorectal cancer. This is going to lead to some major changes and challenges for our family.
Just the first week is leading us to MRI’s, CTSCANS, bloodwork, PCP, and oncology appointments. In two weeks it and appointment with a surgeon. My husband will be out of work for weeks and probably a few months based on results. While we have decent insurance, we we’re definitely not prepared for this.
The expenses are going to be a lot more than we can absorb. I own my own small business, but it’s just part time. My husband is the “bread winner”. Now we are looking at financial peril. We still have 4 kids at home to raise. Getting the news this week, was the hardest thing I’ve had to endure.
Asking people for help, even in a time like this, is just as hard. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Please share this if possible.
Marie Pittman
