Help Mike Replace His Car :(

Hey all, it's your friendly neighborhood Dungeon Master.

As some of you may know, my Prius breathed its last breath recently. The engine quite literally blew up on the freeway in the middle of the night on my way home from work. As you can imagine, this has created a problem for me, as I not only have an hour commute to work, I have a household to manage and a 16 year old who's starting school in just a few weeks. This has happened at, logistically and financially speaking, the worst possible time.

At this point, I just need enough to cover a downpayment on a new car plus registration, etc. Any little bit helps. Thank you in advance for any assistance you're able to provide, and more importantly, thank you for being a part of my life and community.
