Mike Ritz Memorial Fund

My father, MIke Ritz, had a catastrophic stroke Saturday, December 2nd, 2017; he passed away December 5th, 2017 at 12:55 pm.  Dad loved nothing more than his family and friends, church, and working with his new friends at Allied Universal Security.  While we all had our ups and downs, we never doubted his love for us. His passing was sudden, and saying we are devastated doesn't even scratch the surface. Dad never wanted to talk about his own mortality, even when undergoing open heart surgery last year.  Trying to get him to talk about a plan just didn't happen, he was an expert at changing the subject, and pretending to fall asleep. He just told me "Take care of your mother and sister." I guess in my mind, he was immortal, as all of our fathers seem. Now having to make arrangements, I'm left lost, and just trying to do right by him. I am humbly asking for financial assistance for his cremation and funeral service.  Most of you know, finances have always been tight in our household, and coming up with thousands of dollars is just not possible on our own. We cannot set the date of the service until payment is made to the funeral home, and unfortunately that means we do not have the luxury of time.  Every donation will be so greatly appreciated, there are no words. Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts.The day Dad adopted me officially. We were all so happy.  He was my daddy from the first moment.
