Mike Trevino's Farewell

Donation protected
This picture of Mike was taken just about four weeks ago. It was to be the last trip anywhere. I'm glad I was able to take him to see Dwight Yoakam in concert. Mike hadn't been anywhere in over two years. It was nothing but going in and out of hospitals for him. Mike had many health issues from diabetes to dialysis, to foot and leg wounds, to an iliostomy bag. He also suffered from depression because he felt abandoned by so called 'friends'. Outta sight, outta mind is what he used to say. People, you need to make time for folks!!!!

Mike's pain and suffering came to an end on Thursday, April 27th. No more suffering....he is home. His dog Ranger(love of his life) who he lost one year ago was probably there to greet him.
Mike was a good brother, uncle, and friend. He would give you the shirt off his back. He worked for the Pomona Police Department for almost twenty years. He was very proud of his department and loved his friends.  Mike had a major stroke about four and a half years ago that left him completely disabled and therefore was only receiving disability. As most of you know, it doesn't pay much. He didn't have much towards his burial and I can't do too much either since I retired also.
It's hard enough losing my only younger brother, but it's harder not being able to give him the send off he deserves.

Thanks Folks!!!
