In Memory of Mike Weddle Expense Fund

Dearest Friends and Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that Michael “Mike” Weddle passed away on Friday, April 8th, 2022 due to a motorcycle accident on his way to work.

We would love for you to join us for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Mt. Vernon Grange Hall, 3185 Bell Rd. Auburn, CA 95603.

Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. Nothing could ever prepare us for this immense feeling of loss and sorrow. Mike’s passing will undoubtedly bring some financial hardship immediately and in the months to come. We know that Mike loved you all very much and we, as a family, appreciate the kindness you have extended to us.

Mike and Kim lived a very frugal and humble life, but they were rich with a very rare and beautiful love for each other. With that love and inspiring teamwork, they were working very hard to build a happy, secure, and comfortable home to live their lives out together. It was one of their greater joys to share that life with everyone they loved and held dear to them. They got exceptional joy when their combined family of 5 children, Michael, Sarah and Christopher Weddle, Jacob and Amanda Estep, would come to visit the “Weddle Ranch” with their own families.

Mike and Kim are very proud, loyal, hardworking people and would never ask for help. Unfortunately, this may be the only kind of help we can offer Mike and Kim during this most difficult and heartbreaking time.
