Support for Mike Barnhill

Mike Barnhill was in a terrible motorcycle accident on December 7, 2015.  He was sent by Life Flight to Herman Hospital where he was placed into a medically induced coma and they began to assess his injuries. He had swelling and bleeding on the brain and had to have a hole drilled into his head to relieve the pressure, both of his arms are broken as well as his right leg, his lung was punctured, he has broken ribs and need plates in his face.  None of his injuries could be addressed until the brain issue was resolved. On the 11th the swelling had stabilized enough that  they were able to put his leg into traction, and the next day they tried to remove him from sedation.  By the 13th they had to put him back on the seditives because he developed Sepsis in his lungs. They are not sure how long they are going to have to keep him in the coma at this point. He is schelduled for at least 6 surgeries including lower back, bone repairs and skin grafting.  The doctors say he is looking at 3 months to a year in the hospital & rehab. As you all know the bills dont stop coming just because you are injured. He and his wife are in need of financial help as he is their main bread winner. This is going to be a very trying time for he and his wife finiancially. We ask (because they never would) that you help give them one less worry.
