Rally for Mike Cimbura!
Donation protected
In January 2015, Mike Cimbura was diagnosed with ALS, a rapid-acting neurodegenerative disease for which there is no known cure. Watch the video to hear his story.
This diagnoses comes with great physical and financial burden. On average it costs $200,000/year to support an ALS patient.
Mike's wife Nicole continues to serve students by teaching -- all while she supports her husband, three children and manages things at home. She LOVES her job ... but as you can imagine, there is quite a gap between her income and the expenses.
Please rally for Mike and make a donation today!
Many people ask, "Aren't there programs to help?" Yes, but they often come with extreme complexities that risk the total family's livelihood or "I'm sorry, you don't qualify." Hard to hear when you're trying to keep your husband, father, son, brother and friend safe, comfortable and alive.
Mike, Nicole and their three children are known for giving back. Even though she hasn't had a full night's sleep in over 2 years, you'll hear Nicole say, "I wish I could volunteer at ____" or "I wish we had money to give _____."
Despite their own challenges, the family spends time advocating the need for ALS research and options so other families don't have to endure their fate.
Please consider supporting the Cimbura family. Your gift will be deposited directly to a supplemental needs trust. These funds are 100% used for Mike's caregiving needs.
