Mikele’s Road to Junior World Triathlon Champs

Hello,

My name is Mikele Jopson. I am a Junior Elite Triathlete based is Northern California, representing the Philippines. I have been competing in triathlons since I was 5 years old. Since then, I have achieved notable results in triathlon, running, and swimming, Over the past few years, I have been competing at the Junior Elite level. My big goals are racing NCAA triathlon in college, and earning the Philippines a spot at the Junior World Champs in Malaga, Spain in October 2024. I have competed at the US National Junior Championships over the past 3 years, and have also been competitive in higher level Under 25 elite races. These include an 8th place finish in Virginia and a 10th place finish in Florida. Over the next season, I hope to be competing in Florida, Texas, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and the Philippines as a build-up for the Junior Elite World Champs. With competitions at this level, expenses can rack up quickly. I am asking for donations to help fund my training, races and traveling expenses up to Junior World Championships. Every donation is very much appreciated and will go a long away in helping me achieve my goals.
