Mike's Bucket List Memories

Hi , my name is nattalie and I'd like to share the story of my brave husband Mike!!

6 years ago Mike underwent a kidney and pancreas transplant to save his life sadly 6 years later Mike became very poorly in September and was rushed to hospital in which he stayed for 1 month till the doctors finally found that his pancreas had failed and Mike's transplanted kidney had took a massive hit which is why he was so poorly,

Mike was also told he had sadly become diabetic again and would need daily Insuline to help him .. Mike eventually got to come home at the start of October after a few weeks at home Mike once again got taken ill into hospital and during his stay they told Mike his transplanted kidney wasn't doing so well and he would need regular weekly visits and lots of medication to try and stabilise his kidney .. Mike has fought many struggles and pain during these weeks.

Over the last 5 months Mike has been tirelessly fighting a battle that we didn't anticipate, each week we have attended the hospital and each week Mike has slowly deteriorated more with alot of intense pains and complications that have made him bed bound most days and very weak unable to do the basics most days.

Last week we sadly received the inevitable outcome we was dreading .. Mike has been diagnosed with STAGE 5 End Of Life Kidney disease.. Mike will need to have a line put into the heart to allow for dialysis 3 times a week to help try and relive the stress of his body .. most stage 5 kidney disease patients will need a living donor transplant to save there life .. however the minimum wait is between 3 -5 years of which most stage 5 patients will pass away before receiving this transplant

This was the news we dreaded and through it all my husband has been nothing but a warrior

We don't know how long we will have with Mike or what the outcome will be but for aslong as he is here we would love to raise enough money to help him acheive the memories on his bucket list and create the precious moments with his daughter phoebe 6 and myself his wife.

For anyone that know Mike he is the most kindest , thoughtful, generous loving friend ,husband,father and man and if I could provide him with some happy memories during this painful time than I would really appreciate anyones donation or help.
