Mikey's Miracle

Mike was in a horrible car accident and he is now paralyzed from the chest down. He has made it through the first 48 hours, which we were told was a major milestone in his recovery. He had spine surgery the day of his accident and they fused three of his vertebra together. Mike also has a broken pelvis, his femur is dislocated and chipped, he has broken ribs and a collapsed lung.

Mike's family is going to need your help. His triplets, Jake, Devin and Emily just turned 8. Jeffery David (JD) is 5 months old. His wife, Cassie, has not left his side since the accident, which means she is not working. We may not know the full extent of his injuries yet but we will keep you posted on his prognosis and his progress on facebook.

We are overwhelmed with the amount of love and support we have received from friends, families and even strangers in the last couple of days. We decided to start this page because so many of you have asked what you can do. For now, we need prayers. Soon we will need help with medical expenses that are going to arise. Any donation is huge to us. We know that there is a collective family and world of wonderful people out there that can help, and while it's tough for some of us to ask, we knew it was time to open up an outlet for the generous people who have offered.
