Miki Wise

Hello, we are L'Opera fundraising for our dear friend Miki Wise.

Our beloved friend and selfless, loving part of our L'Opera Family for the past 33 years, has undoubtedly had more than her fair share of setbacks these past few years. First, losing both her Mother and Father to the pandemic and then was diagnosed with stage 1 pancreatic cancer. Miki initially had the tumor surgically removed via a "Whipple" procedure. This surgery worked for a short period. However, months later, we learn that her cancer has returned and is now stage 4. Miki is in severe pain; her doctors have recommended pain management, rest, and possibly starting a clinical trial.

Unfortunately, these treatments will not be covered by her existing insurance. She currently lives with her Brother and her puppy "Shakespeare" and will be applying for disability to cover some basic living expenses. We are creating this "Fund" to help ease the stress so Miki can concentrate on the ongoing treatment options and, with God's grace, a "hopeful" future. Miki and the entire L'Opera family would greatly and lovingly appreciate any support that could be sent her way.
