Help Milan Become a Diplomat

My name is Milan Gajic and I come from Serbia. I was recently accepted to one of the most prestigious diplomatic academies in the world - the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. My goal in life is to become a diplomat and try to help bring more peace to the world. This Master’s degree would help me achieve that, but I currently don’t have enough finances to pursue it. If you want to know more about me (as written by my sister): Milan was born in Pristina in 1992. After a war that broke out in 1999, he and our family had to move away from home and build a whole new life from scratch. This relocation came with a lot of obstacles. That’s when Milan discovered soccer - a hobby that sheltered him from many challenges he and our family were facing back then. He spent his entire childhood playing soccer day and night before he turned professional. Afterwards, he played in the cadet national team of Serbia and many different countries, such as Switzerland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Soccer was his life’s passion, so when he injured himself badly and was told he could not play professionally anymore, it felt like his life was taken away from him. He spent a lot of time looking for something that could bring him as much joy as soccer did, which is how he discovered Law. Milan started his studies when he was 26. Against all odds, since he was a fairly poor student during Elementary and High School, he graduated after less than four years, with honors. Afterwards, Milan enrolled in the Master’s degree in International Law. He got his graduate degree after a year with a GPA of 10/10. He financed his studies mostly through stipends and work, but for the majority of time, he lived on only $70 per month. Above all this, Milan managed to publish three books of poetry in the span of several years. Now, Milan got an opportunity to attend the prestigious Diplomatic Academy of Vienna - the oldest of its kind in the world. He has a chance to achieve his dreams of being a diplomat and bringing at least a bit more peace to the world. He knows how awful and devastating wars can be, so he wants to do his part in making them less prevalent and frequent. The school tuition is 15.000 euros a year, and the program lasts two years.
