Mila’s Sarcoma Treatment
Donation protected
I never thought we’d be in this position. I rarely like to ask for help with anything. We’re hard working and stubborn, independent people. But I come to you in my most vulnerable state. My precious cat Mila was diagnosed with an injection site sarcoma (aggressive form of cancer). We spoke with LSU oncology about treatment options and the best recommended option is radiation. My baby is only 6 years old. She has so much more life to give, but we can NOT afford the $10,000-11,000 of treatment. We already owe the hospital $10,000 from when I gave birth to our daughter in December, which was catastrophic itself. We are devastated, but want to fight for Mila. We don’t expect to get anywhere near this amount in donations, but if you have ANYTHING- even $1 or more, that you are willing to send our way to help, PLEASE, we appreciate it more than we can put in words..
UPDATE: We have raised the initial costs for the CT scan, but we still need to raise the $8,500 for radiation. According to the doctor we would have to start radiation within 2 weeks of the CT so we cannot even start treatment until we’ve raised the remaining as it would be over $2,000 per week that payment would be due when services are rendered. Thank you all for everything!
