Mildred’s Return to Teaching

As many of you know, our mother Mildred retired from teaching first grade when the Covid 19 pandemic hit in 2020. Due to her being immunocompromised from previous breast cancer treatments, we all felt this was the best decision. After 2 years of retirement, complete Covid 19 vaccination, and an extreme shortage in teachers, she has decided to return to her calling. I’m sure we all know how valuable teachers are and are happy to see her bless children who need her.

Since she is going back to work, she would like to create a comfortable and inviting environment and atmosphere for her students. When she retired, she gave everything away with the intention of helping teachers who were still working. She will need to start preparing her classroom for the beginning of school but has very limited funds. Any donation will help decorate, stock, and prepare her classroom to give her babies the best year possible!
