100 miles 4 Lizzie
Edit:
I originally set up this fund to raise money to help pay for medical treatment to help my daughter through her battle with Brain Cancer. Unfortunately the cancer turned out to be very aggressive and she passed away on November 18th. Lizzie's battle only lasted 3 months passing away at just 27.
We have thought long and hard and decided to still do the 100 mile bike ride in memory of Lizzie and raise money to help her two daughters Grace 7 and Sophia 5. We haven't decided exactly what to do for the girls but were thinking of setting something up for their future, maybe set up a trust fund to help with life goals.
The ride is hopefully going ahead on May 1st the day after Lizzie's birthday (covid permitting)
If you can spare a donation to help encourage our team to reach the 100 miles it would be gratefully appreciated by the whole team.
Regards
John

Original Story:
As some of you may know my daughter Lizzie has been diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour (an Embryonal tumour of the Pineal region, Pineoblastoma) she has started 36 weeks of intensive chemo and radiotherapy at Guys & St Thomas’s hospital in London.
While the NHS will do the very best for Lizzie there is also a lot of treatments that are not covered on the NHS that will help Lizzie fight the cancer.
Obviously this comes at a high cost and what with running a new home and looking after her 2 beautiful 7 and 4 year old daughters, Lizzie and Gordon are going to face a huge financial burden.
So to help her crowdfunding page I have decided to cycle 100 miles from Lizzie’s house in Gravesend to my house in Hastings and back to Gravesend along with some family and friends.
Please if you can spare a donation to motivate us to complete this challenge it would mean the world to us and Lizzie.
