Miles Brown "Snack" Fund

Donation protected
Hi my name is Lawrence Nugent a long time Saskatchewan Roughriders™ Fan.
I have been a Shareholder/Season Ticket holder since 2008 but have attended many games since the 1980's.

Just recently it has come to the attention of all Rider Nation Fans across Canada that the Canadian Football League™ has UNJUSTLY levied a "MAXIMUM" fine against Miles Brown ( #90 - Defensive lineman for the Saskatchewan Roughriders ™) for what they determined to be a Unnecessary "Roughing The Passer" penalty.

Even though, if you watch the footage, on a trick play on 2rd down, Miles Brown is being held and dragged to the ground by the Bomber offensive lineman after clearly beating him through the initial contact at the line of scrimmage.
He did not "lose his footing".
Simultaneously making initial contact to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers™ QB in the thigh area ( which is legal as per the CFL™ rulebook - above the knees ) while he still had the football in his hands and the QB fell awkwardly backwards and was unfortunately injured.

Brown had even let go of the QB before both players hit the ground.
He has been labelled as a "Dirty Player" by both the management of the Bombers, their fans and some media personalities (who know who they are) which should be considered an attack on his personal character.

It has repeatedly been backed up by many players (even some on the Bombers team that were playing against him in that game) that he indeed is NOT a dirty player. One Bomber player (who shall remain unnamed but everyone knows who it is) who was on the field for the play in question when the incident happened, commented to Scott Billeck, a Winnipeg reporter on "X"™ (formally known as Twitter™) in an interview, "Personally, I don't think it was dirty". "I thought it was clean. I didn't think it was a dirty hit. Just really unfortunate that Strev had to go down with an injury there."

Anyways the purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise funds to reimburse Miles Brown for this injustice and unbelievable fine of "half a game cheque" which approximately works out to around $2500.00 as per some sources.

If you are a Green Blooded Rider Nation fan like myself, anyone who disagrees with the fine, believe the fine is unwarranted and excessive, feel there was a campaign to "assassinate" Miles Brown's character (cue up the footage of all the incidents in question in seconds - otherwise known as a "hitpiece"), please donate what you can.

Updates on the fundraising will be provided hopefully on everyone's favourite Riders Fan Site and here of course.
Proceeds will be forwarded to Miles Brown when the target is achieved.
