Miles for Meals: Fighting Hunger in Namibia

It is no secret Namibia stole my heart. When I embarked upon my 250km ultra marathon journey, I had no idea selecting the location of Namibia would ignite something so special and pull at my heartstrings so intensely.

I had the beautiful opportunity provided by the race organizers of Racing the Planet to feed hundreds of hungry children in need. The work felt so fulfilling and satisfying, more rewarding than crossing any finish line could ever feel.

I left that community feeling a sense of purpose and knew I wanted to do more. I made a promise to Clifton, a beautiful soul, a local, that volunteers his time, energy, and resources to help provide for his community through cooking and providing meals to families large and small.

I will be returning to Namibia and I want to present a gift from me and you alike to these amazing, kind-hearted people. I am putting a goal amount of $5000 as this could feed the community for months. If we can exceed this amount and push for more, let’s do it!

Every dollar is a mouth fed. No donation is too small, no donation too large. Let’s join together and feed these babies, children, mothers, and fathers who need our support.

I will be using my platform to reach as many as possible for this mission.
