Miles for Mick
Donation protected
In late 2021 Mick Cronin suffered a workplace accident that left him with life-changing injuries. Mick’s GAA club, Bishopstown and the local community have come together to raise much-needed funds for Mick’s long term care and support.
On Saturday, April 30th, Ray O'Mahony(St. Finbarr's) will embark on a 65km/40-mile walk for this cause. He will walk from Bishopstown GAA club and call to every GAA ground in the City Division (Seandún). The course represents the distance between Bishopstown and Mick’s home club of Kiskeam. This walk will take approximately 10 hours to complete, and Ray hopes to meet some representatives from every club as he calls.
It would be great to take a picture and record a message of support for Mick at every ground with some members in their club colours. This is a day where every club in Cork city can unite for one cause; we are one community, hurling, football, camogie, LGFA.
Your cooperation and support of this great cause would be very much appreciated.
