Miles for mum (23rd of august)

After battling with depression my Mum, Denise Johnston sadly lost her life to suicide on August 23rd 2003, this has had a massive impact on all of my family’s lives, and has done for 19 years now. I want to raise money for the Samaritans charity to help people who are struggling so less people have to go through this. To raise money I am going to cycle from the place my Mum was born (Cannock chase hospital), to the place she sadly lost her life (Tadley). This is a 128 mile cycle. I will be doing this on the 19th anniversary of her death.

Samaritans' vision is that fewer people die by suicide. Every 90 minutes, someone in the UK or Ireland dies by suicide.
